Safety, one of our most wanted and necessary achievements, is becoming more and more jeopardized. Children grow up too fast and too dangerous these days. Replacing the good ole days of slingshots and nerf guns with knives and real guns. Gangs recruit at earlier and earlier ages, swiping up the innocent quicker than the most crazed fad. Civilians falling on hard times now resort to violence first, not caring who gets caught in the crossfire, not caring who dies and who survives. And unfortunately through all of this, common men have little in the way of legal self-defense. Everyone is a target now, rich or poor, young or old, and we must strive to prepare ourselves for any outcome at any time.

Obviously, you'd look like a fool going about your day to day business sheathed in a wall of Kevlar, or wielding a riot shield. Beyond that, those actions would make you yourself look undoubtedly suspicious. But finally, we do have a new option in defending ourselves. Some fine folks in the weapons industry have turned to crafting defensive tools as well as destructive. One of my personal favorites is the introduction of Bulletproof Clothing. Yes, that's right, every day wear, and innocuous looking jackets that can stop gunfire! There is now a way to get around in your day to day wear, not raising suspicion with either the law, or with delinquents, yet still completely protected. Bulletproof garments have reached a pinnacle in their technology, providing stylish garments that can stop gunfire, shrapnel, and even armor piercing ammunition! Yeah, the stuff that goes through standard kevlar. Your jacket could stop it, if it were bulletproof! Want to stay conceivably safe, yet wear the clothing you already have? Get one of their fine vests, easily compatible with any wardrobe! The clothing is custom tailored to your form, avoiding any uncomfortable bagginess or "too-tight" portions. Armor plates are completely removable, allowing you to upgrade, or do without the protection when not needed. There are a multitude of armor-plating levels, fitted to you level of need. They go from guarding against knives and other sharp weapons, to basic gunfire protection, all the way to armor penetrating rounds! Talk about hardcore defense! And lastly (probably what you are thinking about right now) is the cost. What price tag can you put on safety? Fortunately, not a very high one! These products are actually quite affordable, even to those working with a budget. Many companies even offer a sort of layaway or pay by month program!
